The bedroom loft is accessible by stairs, yes actual stairs rather than ladders or pipes. It has an LCD TV, meaning you can enjoy your free time watching TV both in the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom loft has a railing on the side to prevent any mishaps of falling down while sleeping. And the best part is that there is a sky light right above the bedroom loft. You can fall asleep to the sight of the sky while still being inside the warmth and comfort of your own home. The bathroom is well designed with a sliding door, a separate space for the sink with a cabinet underneath for added storage of bathroom and cleaning essentials.
Tiny room and rude, snobby receptionist - Lloyed Hotel
A separate shower cabin with glass sides and a glass door, and a toilet. We stayed here for the day, as we had a connecting flight from Budapest which required us to stay for 14 hours in Frankfurt . The only reason we stayed here was because we'd had to leave Budapest at 3am and wanted to catch up on some sleep before we flew home.
The room is big and beds are comfortable, but the bathroom is very small and not very clean. Weird smell and a red light in it makes it kinda scary. The elevator is old fashioned and not more than two can get in with luggage.
The Process
Not many restaurants close by and only one super market is at walking distance. If you are looking for shopping, konstablerwache would cost you about 20 Euros from this place in a taxi. We had a "quad room" which had a separate bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds in another room. The facilities were adequate and the room was comfortable. It is conveniently located near the main train terminal (10-15 minute walk).

An outlet is thoughtfully placed high on a wall in the living area for a mounted TV. The kitchen is equipped with a 11 cubic foot fridge+freezer, propane stove+oven and 15' of quartz or granite counter space, complete with an area to accommodate 2 bar stools. Lots of drawers, cabinets and even a pantry under the stairs. When in Frankfurt am Main you spend 41,50 EUR per night you are in some way exposing yourself to not finding a completely suitable hotel, but this is not the case with LLOYED. I selected this hotel just because of the affordable price and the position close to where I had to go, and then after staying there 8 nights I definitively had a positive impression.
After emailing the hotel beforehand, they confirmed it would be okay to check in at any time and check out on the same day. On arrival at the hotel, we were 'greeted' by a very grumpy receptionist. After a few minutes of saying nothing to us, he said the only room available was on the 6th floor, which was 5 floors up in the lift plus one flight of stairs. We accepted this as we were checking in early, and made our way up in the smallest lift I have ever been in.

Clean, silent and cheap are three adjectives which are quite hard to find together in Frankfurt, especially during a Fair trade event. You must have lived in Germany on a residence permit for at least 8 years or you must have lived in Germany on a residence permit for 7 years and attended an integration course . This tiny house was originally listed for $57,000. These homes are made, each one unique and by hand one at a time, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest by me, Shannon Black. Every detail is considered in the design and build of these artisan homes. I would definitively recommend to stay in the second building rather than the main one.
